Chaplain Services

Mission

A Chaplain provides presence, active listening, prayer, and spiritual comfort through theological understanding and tangible life experience with a loving God. A CBVC Resource Center Chaplain is a faith confidant prepared to help wounded military and veterans and those who love them through basic life and spiritual concerns.

Referral Direction

Chaplains provide spiritual related assistance. A CBVC Resource Center Chaplain is trained in and able to assist Veterans in choosing an appropriate pathway to receive Psychological Care, Social assistance (education, housing, etc.) or support.

Clergy Related Duties

CBVC Resource Center Chaplains are fully ordained clergy vested by the state to perform funeral and marriage rights and ceremonies, to visit individuals in State run medical facilities, and to provide sacraments based on the preference of the individual.
